Notice is given that a Special General Meeting of the Ménière’s Society will be held on Saturday 17 May 2025 at 13:45 at which the following business will be transacted:

  2. To ratify an update to the charity’s name: Following a review of the charity’s name, the Trustees are seeking ratification to change the charity’s name from ‘The Ménière’s Society’ to ‘Ménière’s and Vestibular UK’.
  3. Any other business

  • The meeting will take place at Horizon Leeds, 3rd Floor, 2 Brewery Wharf, Kendell Street, Leeds LS10 1JR and will commence at 13:45.

Ways to vote

  • In person: Vote on 17 May 2025 at our Conference and Special General Meeting
  • By post: If you’re unable to attend on the day, you can still have your say. You can vote in advance of the meeting by completing the voting form enclosed with the most recent issue of Spin (issue 115). Please complete this form and return to us by 5pm on 9 May 2025.
  • Online: Members should visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/menieresvestibular to vote online. This vote will close at 5pm on 9 May 2025. 

You must be a member of the Meniere's Society to vote and your membership number is required to do so. If you are not sure of your membership number, please contact us and we can provide this for you. You may only vote once and subsequent votes will not be counted.
