Balance Awareness Week 12-18 September 2016

This year's Balance Awareness Week will take place to 12-18 September 2016.

Balance Awareness Week takes place annually in September. We encourage members, supporters, health professionals, in fact, anyone with an interest in vestibular disorders, to take part. The aim of the week is to raise awareness of vestibular disorders, help people find the support they need and encourage vital research into these conditions.

The Ménière’s Society will be running various events as well as encouraging supporters to come up with their own ideas. Whether it’s a coffee morning, cake sale, bucket collection or manning an information stand – we’ll appreciate anything you can do to raise awareness and/or funds. Click here to find out more...
 
The Ménière’s Society is the only registered charity in the UK dedicated solely to supporting people with vestibular (inner ear) disorders causing dizziness & imbalance. We receive no government funding & rely solely on fundraising & membership subscriptions to fund our vital work.There are many ways you can take part, from wearing your Ménière’s Society pin badge, to running a marathon. Ask your employer to hold a Blue Monday event, where everyone comes to work wearing blue to support Balance Awareness Week or have an information stand in your department or office. Balance Awareness Week 2016 is worldwide! The Ménière’s Society is pleased to be partnering with the Vestibular Disorders Association (VEDA) in the US for a further year and other charities as part of a global effort to raise awareness of vestibular disorders and defeat dizziness.
